When I was a kid, my dad spoiled us with a lot of reading material, he bought us lots and lots of comic books to spur up our imagination and help our vocabulary. I always loved spending my afternoons reading away the various adventures of my heroes. There were mainly 2 alternate universes, the worlds of DC & Marvel Comic Heroes.
One of the heroes that I grew fond of was Green Lantern. I thought it was absolutely cool to have a ring that was so powerful, charged to a lamp. Because his main color was green, he was not so keen with the color yellow, which had a weakening effect on his ring-power. And of course, his uniform was better than the other heroes who had briefs outside of their tights.
So when I heard that a Green Lantern film was in the making. I got excited and concluded in my mind that Hollywood really knows how to tickle the fancy of movie-goers. Check out this picture.
It is going to be released in 2011, hopefully it will be a worthwhile movie to catch!
